Update on Brent!

It has been two weeks since Brent had knee surgery. He is healing well, but has now developed pneumonia...So it is one thing after another...if you know what I mean! We just found out last night after a trip to Reliance Urgent care. He had 2 breathing treatments there and has an albuterol puffer for home as well as some cough syrup and prednisone. So hopefully he will be getting better soon.
Brent is now of the crutches and thrilled with that, but he is a bit nervous to be going back to work. He starts back on Monday and is on only light duty for now. I will let you know of any new updates later.

Brent had surgery today!!!

Brent went to the orthopedic specialist yesterday and they had an opening today! He had surgery this morning at 7 am! He is doing well! It wasn't as bad as expected, so he is doing really well! I will let you know of any updates! Have a great day!

On the baby front...

So my appointment was scheduled for yesterday, but we had a pretty good snow storm so it got canceled! I actually got it rescheduled today! SO that was quick!
We had the ultrasound at 11 am and the baby was transverse...Lying across my uterus and face down! So the tech got good pictures of the baby's spine and head! She tried to get the baby to roll over so we could get a shot of what the sex is, but baby would not do it! It had it's legs crossed so tight and in one position the sex would look male and then in another position it would look female...SO who knows! We have to go back on the 4th of March for another ultrasound! The umbilical cord was not really visible enough for a picture and the babys gender is still up in the air! So we will try again! Oh well!
Other then that everything looked good...the placenta, fluid and the baby in general! It is about 13 ounces and we are right on track with the size of the baby and the due date! So I am happy with that news! The heart rate was stong and about 156-166...So that works!
Also today I had to do the glucose tolerance test and I was a bit worried about that, but my blood sugar was fine! I also lost a pound...But the doctor wasn't worried, so neither am I! Anyways...Oh and my ultrasound results for my gallbladder came back fine, so I won't need surgery! The doctor thinks I may have had a stomach bug!

Due to the weather....

Of course it always snows the day I have to travel to Durango to visit the doctor!!! Haha! I received a phone call from the doctors office yesterday and they said that due to all the snow they had received they're not going to be in the office today! And also that due to the dangerous road conditions they wanted met o cancel my ultrasound also! So I have to reschedule and at this time I don't know when my new appointment will be! So we still don't know anything!
Brent sees the orthopedic specialist on Thursday...I will let you know what we find out!
