Our boy is 3 months old!

Today Braxton is 3 months old! He and I both have a cold..Its going around here...Yuck! But he was happy and I got some cute pictures of him this afternoon! I posted my favorite one!

My big brown eyed boy!!! This kid is hilarious! He makes me laugh every day! His smile melts my heart. The joy he brings to me and his dad is never ending! He is such a blessing in our lives and we are enjoying every minute of his little life and all his milestones! He is trying to sit up and has been for about a month now! He giggles and "talks"...If you say "I love you" he will make noise in the tone you said it to him in! Its so cute! Now when you try to sit him up, he straightens his legs and wants to stand! He wants to be big already...And I want him to stay little! Of course he will get his way!His hair has lightened up...there is a stripe along the back that is blond..It looks like he has been wearing a hat. I love this little guy so much and I am so grateful to have him in my life!

Our First Play Date!!!

Our good friends Tara and Dave had Sebastian 2 days before we had Braxton! We finally got together for some play time and for some mommy bonding time! We see each other at church, but that's never enough time to talk! It's nice to have someone to talk to and to make sure things that are going on with our little ones are "Normal"! We had so much fun! The boys were happy for the first little bit and then they were both ready for a nap! Thanks for having us over to play! And thanks for letting me cuddle your cute little chunk!

A new morning ritual...

Brent started a new job Monday with HSC. He still has a ladder restriction and could no longer work in the oil Field. He loves his new job...He is an outside sales Representative.

Braxton didn't really take notice...well he new something was different Monday and Tuesday..But it was Wednesday that Braxton was awake when Brent left for work. It was cute..He watched the doorway of our bedroom after he left, waiting for him to come back in! Brent went to Durango that day so we didn't get to see him at lunch time. But Braxy was so excited to see him when he got home!

How we spent Labor Day Weekend...

We started adding the porch on earlier this summer and have been doing it little by little...This weekend we continued on...But there was a tree in the way! Yes...I know we started cutting the tree down after we put the new part up....That's the way the Pruitt's roll! They like to do it the hard way!

We started cutting the tree down on ladders....(Kevin's crazy ideas!) But he gave in an rented this huge Genie boom lift! It has worked so well and safely! He and Brent could both be in it and work together! Plus its heavy equipment and what man doesn't enjoy playing with heavy equipment! LOL!

We added on the right half of the porch Saturday and started cutting the tree down!
