A little update...

OK so it has been a couple of weeks! I made it through my pinning ceremony and graduation and even into last weekend and my little sisters wedding. It was funny because all of my family really wanted me to go into labor up there and have Braxton in Utah. Well we made it back home safe and sound and made it to our 34 week appointment today! I was glad for that!
Today we went to the doctor and Braxton is still breach...He has been for the past month...His Papa Pruitt (Kevin) says that is it because he has a Pruitt head! And he is stubborn! I'm not worried yet. We have an ultrasound on June 5th...I will be almost 37 weeks, so if the doctor has to she will try and manipulate him into the head down position...Hopefully he does it on his own! I start my weekly appointments on the 5th of June...And I hope he comes before his due date!
I am glad to be home finally...I can put my feet up a little more now! The past 2 weeks have been so busy and I am glad to have them over with! Anyways! I will let you know of any changes that happen! Have a great day!
Ps....Sorry no pictures....We left our camera in Utah at my parents house....I'm going to see if my sister will email me some when she gets back from her honeymoon!

What has been going on...???

So I am in my final week of nursing 230 preceptorship! I have a great preceptor and have been working on the surgical unit at night for the past 3 weeks! I can' t believe I only have 3 more shifts left this week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) and graduation is right around the corner! My pinning ceremony is on the 8th of May and Graduation is on the 10th. That's next week! WOW! I am so excited! And some of my family is coming into town!
I picked up my cap and gown and some graduation announcements today! This made it so real! I can't believe it is finally here!
My little sister Kelly is getting married the weekend after that...May 17th and then Next thing I know I will have a little one! Where has the year gone?

Utah Baby shower!!! Games

While visiting Utah over spring break, my family threw a baby shower for us! We had a blast and got some great stuff! I can't wait to use it! Here are some pictures!

We have a name...But how are we going to spell it?

We picked out the name Braxton for our little guy! We have had a few suggestions on how to spell it though. My cousin Leesa suggested Braxtyn, which I think is adorable...But Brent doesn't want to spell it that way because it will be misspelled all of his life....Welcome to my world! And Aunt Jessica even suggested Brackston, but we decided it might be to long!
So we decided to spell it "normal" to cause less stress to our son! Ha ha!
I have had a lot of relation to braxton-hicks contractions...which I have yet to experience....So there is no relation!
Anyways, that's the update for today!

Here is my newest family picture! I needed it for my pinning ceremony and had the chance to go home to Utah for an entire week. It was fun and relaxing and just what I needed! Brent really had a great time too!

Update on us!

So Brent had a doctors appointment on Monday and the doctor decided he is still not strong enough to return to full duty! So 5 more weeks off...He says he isn't going to remember what to do when he gets back to work!

I passed my final and have passed nursing 220...So now it is on to Nursing 230 which is nursing preceptorship. Im nervous....Starting my third trimester and being assigned to the night shift have me a little stressed out! I will make it...Only 5 or so more weeks till I graduate! Yay!

I had a doctors appointment today and had to do another glucose tolerance test...My blood sugar was higher then it should be, so now I have to do the 3 hour test! That stinks and baby doesn't like that stuff either! Also I am measuring much bigger then I should be....36 cm. The doctor didn't seem to concerned today, but he did the measurement twice.

I am now in to the portion of pregnancy where I get to go every 2 weeks! And it is so crazy to think that baby will be here in 12 weeks or so! Wow! That's kind of scary and exciting all at the same time!

My next appointment is on April 17th....So we will see what happens then!


Oh and we have decided on a name....Not necessarily a spelling, but a name...

Braxtyn or Braxton Adam Pruitt

I wanted his initials to be the same as his dads, since I wasn't carrying on the tradition of using the middle name as a first name! So B. A. P. will have to do!

Baby News!!!!!!

OK...So here is the official news......Are you Ready???


It's A BOY!!!!


He co-operated today! He was more then willing to share what he was hiding last time!
We are thrilled! Now all we need is a name! Hahaha!

This will be the first Pruitt grandson.....And The first Pruitt great grandson! So every one is excited to have the Pruitt name go on!

So now you all know! Sorry there aren't any pictures...My camera isn't working and my other camera leaves a flash mark on the picture! And I don't have a scanner! Haha, Oh well!

Update on Brent!

It has been two weeks since Brent had knee surgery. He is healing well, but has now developed pneumonia...So it is one thing after another...if you know what I mean! We just found out last night after a trip to Reliance Urgent care. He had 2 breathing treatments there and has an albuterol puffer for home as well as some cough syrup and prednisone. So hopefully he will be getting better soon.
Brent is now of the crutches and thrilled with that, but he is a bit nervous to be going back to work. He starts back on Monday and is on only light duty for now. I will let you know of any new updates later.
